NICHOLAS E. BEDNARSKI, M.D.
Dr. Nicholas E. Bednarski, a California native, completed his B.S. degree at Tulane University, and M.D. degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. After training in Internal Medicine at L.A. County - U.S.C. Medical Center, Los Angeles, he was accepted at UCLA’s fellowship in Nephrology, receiving research grants from both the National Kidney Foundation and the Kidney Foundation of Southern California.As chief medical resident at Wadsworth Veteran’s Medical Center, he taught critical care medicine.
Entering the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Bednarski taught Family Practice residents and was director of Dialysis Services at Military Airlift Command Headquarters, Scott AFB Medical Center in Illinois. He began private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada, and taught Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Critical Care Medicine and Nutrition, rising to the position of Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada Medical School.
In 1988, the group recruited Dr. Bednarski to practice in Ventura County. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, and Nephrology, with prior certifications inCritical Care Medicine and Quality Assurance/ Utilization Review. A sailor, skier, motorcyclist, and tennis player, Dr. Bednarski’s priority remains his family.
